Medical aid is a non-profit product that provides cover for medical expenses. The level of cover provided is dependent on the option chosen and can range from basic cover for hospitalisation only (sometimes even limited to a pre-specified amount per annum) to comprehensive cover for both hospitalisation and day-to-day medical expenses.
